- Comment: The Droid Docking station really pumps up the volume on the Droid! We were largely interested in this product for the digital clock feature - particularly as my husband and I travel a great deal. The clock features are swell, but we were both thrilled by all the other fun things it does, too.
The weather is also always visible in the lower left corner - conditions, current temperature and the high and low anticipated for the day. It can act as an automatic digital photo display, and it's a great hands free way to hear the music stored on your phone or if you have Pandora or another music service, you can easily play that as well. It also makes a pretty good night-lite!
If you were hesitating to add accessories don't hesitate to add this one!

- Comment: I just bought the Droid docking station and I'm very pleased with it. The dock is solidly built (like the Droid) and props the phone up perfectly for use on a nightstand/desk. It comes with an additional USB cord and wall charger so you can have a charger at home and work. I'm very happy I bought this dock, it's a neat accessory at a very reasonable price. Well done Motorola and Amazon!

- Comment: I have the droid phone and enjoy the docking station. It is as advertised and works well. I use the docking station mostly to charge the phone, but use the clock as well. I own an RV and will take this docking station to use in the coach when I need an alarm clock. I highly recommend this device for the Droid phone.

- Comment: Good place to "park" and charge your Droid and maybe replace your alarm clock. Nice multi-media functions too, especially if you connect the output jack to good speakers or headphones. Have had mine for over four months now, with no reliability problems at all.
Biggest drawback, in my opinion, is its failure to accommodate Droids with protective case shells. The could put a little more room in the back to allow a case, but failed to do so. I have to take the back of my case off each time I use my cradles, and it's a pain, even though my case back is easier to remove than most. The price could be a bit lower too, especially with the case-unfriendly design glitch.
I have two of these docks - one in bedroom, and one at office - but sure wish they'd accommodate Droid cases!

- Comment: I'm not sure why they call it a "multimedia" dock - it's really just a charging station and display holder. Putting your phone in it activates a special clock/weather station that's pretty cool (but can also be activated through software on the Android market).
For anyone else wondering if the cheaper one fulfilled by the OEM shop has everything, it does. It's a fully retail version with the box, all accessories. So you get a dock, a charger cable (the same that came with the phone), a AC/USB converter (same that came with the phone), and way more instructions than you should need.
