- Summary: So far so good...
- Comment: I was a tad surprised by the negative reviews until I saw that there may have been a previous design flaw with the top piece. I received a nicely fitted case, both top and bottom and have none of the previously mentioned complaints. I have to say though, I do not use a car dock or any other type of dock so the fittings/ports are not an issue for me. I have small hands/fingers so the top row on the physical keyboard is very accessible, no problems at all.
The case has a very slim profile, looks like part of the phone. In fact a friend picked it up and commented how she liked the feel of the phone until I told her that was the case she was touching. It's much less bulky than some of the other cases out there, BodyGlove, Amzer, etc.
I subtracted one star due to the price. $20 is a tad overpriced for rubberized plastic that totals less than an oz. in weight.

- Summary: Great item
- Comment: Just received this item. Installation could not possibly be easier. Also, it fits flawlessly.
Only one minor complaint, and I mean very minor: when installed, use of the top row of the slideout keyboard becomes marginally harder, on more than one occasion I have hit the enter key instead of the backspace key when texting, usually resulting in sending an incomplete text.
Other than this, I am very pleased with the product.

- Summary: If you can be flexible, this is a great case!
- Comment: "Wow!"
That's exactly what I said when I opened up the package. This case is very sleek, thin and LIGHTWEIGHT. When it is on, the Droid looks and feels exactly like it does without a case- except I know it is now nicely encased and protected.
My review title mentions "if you can be flexible" in it because, as others have said, the Droid does not fit in the docking station with this case completely on. I don't think any case can be on the Droid when it's docking- the body glove I had as my case before had to come off, too. Given that Motorolla clearly saw no need for Droid's to be "clothed" while charging, I made the choice to simply take the body glove off each night (the only time I dock). Eventually, the body glove cover became too loose, so I ordered this case. And I am GLAD I did.
Here's my solution to the docking station problem, which really only works with a case this thin: I take off the bottom part of the case (trust me, it gets easier once you do it a few times) and then slide the phone partially open. I then dock it. When it is firmly docked, I push down on the top of the phone (the part you actually see when docked- the time, etc) until it goes as far as it can. Ta Da! With the top part of the case still on the phone, it is now docked, charging and now serving as my alarm clock! Not perfect, but what the heck- it works for me!
So, if you are willing to try that solution, I can guarantee you'll like the case. I am considering buying it in another color, as well!

- Summary: it stands up to all the hype
- Comment: I really did not expect it to stand up to all they hype. It fits great, slides as though it is not on an even I can type with my fat fingers! It actually improves the look of the phone. I have heard there was a problem with the early ones fitting loose on the front. They have fixed the issue and as I understand they are replacing the loose ones.

- Summary: Best case available for the Droid
- Comment: When I recently purchased my Droid, I quickly found out how case-unfriendly it was. I started my case hunt with the Body Glove hard rubberized case. It caused a little too much resistance when sliding open the keyboard and it was very hard to remove the case if I needed to access the micro-SD card, pop out the battery to reset my phone, or place the Droid in a dock or cradle. My next attempt was the snap-on silicone case offered at the Verizon store. That case completely blocked my keyboard from sliding open. I searched the web for suggestions and all signs pointed to the Seidio Innocase Surface. I saw that the case had great reviews on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. Boy, I'm glad I did. The cover snaps on and off very easily. There is no resistance at all when sliding open the phone. Both pieces feel very secure and the case adds virtually no bulk to the phone (the Body Glove adds significantly more bulk, but does feel as if it would offer better protection in the event of drops). The texture has a very smooth rubbery feel and is a bit slippery. It's stylish but definitely not for the butter-fingered. The Innocase also easily shows smudges if your fingers are moist or oily, but they rub right off. I read the reports of top pieces popping off for some users. I have not experienced this problem and it doesn't appear imminent. My case seems very well made. Seidio offers accessories, such as car windshield mounts and desktop cradles, that work with the Droid in the Innocase. This is definitely the best case out of the few I've tried.
